Haha... A big day is approaching.
HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY!
*drum roll* Of course the preparations were a screw up this time. Here I am, a simple minded JC student trying to do well in his studies when the calling of God always itches in my ear. Why must I be the random person that he picks up to do his will? I'm jux sixteen, and I feel older day by day... Anyways all this equated to a derelict mind that is doing some badly required renovation works.
To think that I still have a chinese compo and english gp essay to do after this. Haiz.
As a pure R-generation (roaming) rugger, guess where i went after school? I'm such a glutton for punishment. Instead of going back home to study like all good boys do, I expect, I was compelled to go back to my alma mater, Catholic High.
Which is what exactly i did. In full AJ uniform, I devoured myself over canteen food, play basketball w/ my tie still on, met some of the teachers. All in good time.
Prices have risen since i was last there. Even my favorite "pao" is equally priced as the aj canteen snack stall... So sad =( But this time I caught up on alot of news, things of a dark past that I doubt many CHers know. All this came up from an interesting side conversation with the snack uncle, his 50 years of experience almost all condensed into 15minutes. Woah.
Bball was fine, but it was the first time I did it with the full school uniform. Needless to say, I was drenched by the time i was done playing around 5.15pm. Strange how playing at the aj school courts can make another sch's basket hoop look so big.
Met Mrs Tan back at the auditorium, where most of the teachers were attending a important course on the security of the school. Later I went back to "chope" some of the buffet spread left over. Hee hee, really enjoyed myself.
Then came the bombshell. Teachers dinner at the Singapore Island Country club, and that meant that they have to leave the school by 11am. How to celebrate Teachers Day at the secondary school, when dchool only ends at round 10? Quite an mission impossible.
Haiz... I guess I have to make do with what time i am given with.
And Then there's a meet-the-junior session at amk family centre, where ajc and deyi sec pair up to do some service learning project. I'm going with chris for this programme called "project buddy", and hope that the meeting tomorrow will be fruitful. Actually the whole thing sounds so primary school, but let's see, shall we?
Seb out.
And repeat after me : HAPPY teachers day!
(for its a happy holiday)
LOLly
Let the fun begin. Seb over, out.

Haha... So i am doing GP now. As well as EoM. But I was still goofing aroung the web at some point in time and decided to let the occasional reader read up a bit of interest for themselves. So smilez for the learning opportunity!
Apple Computer to pay Creative US$100m to settle patent dispute
Economic analysis of Creative
What they taught us at primary school was wrong.wrong.wrong. Pluto declassed from planet status. Wasn't it obvious all along? (acting smart aleck)

early morning... where's e worm?
Before I head off to school for the National Day programme in school, lets just say that I got up earlier than my usual stuff to do my part of the Written Report for Project Work. Haiz... Not completed yet, the usual boring stats to sift through, so I went blog surfing and guess what? Hey-hey!
special mention of me on the church youth blog! lolx. :-)) Not been updated for a long time though.
then came the usual suspect on what should I learn as a official mugging third language when I come out of school. So this survey...
manx... they really think so? "Natural entrepreneur"... what's the most creative thing I've come up with that is marketable. Nevertheless.... gotta improve on my Chinese.
Okay. leaving for school now for a happy celebration!
Seb over and out.

| You Should Learn Chinese |
Surprised? You shouldn't be - Chinese is perfect for an ambitious person like you. You're a natural entrepreneur, and a billion people are waiting to do business with you! |

july afrthots
Whoo Hoo!
Another start of a new month =)
Promo's about 8 weeks away =(
AJ choir got category champs in WCG! =)
My homework load is piling up again =(
National day celebrations start tomorrow! =)
Project Work needs to be done and proper =(
I haven't really started yet.
As this crazy person typing here implys, I have one hell of a life here going on. So many things to blog, so little time to put it all down to words. Luckily I ate fast enough during lunch break to rush up to the AJ library to work on this. This blog is just high maintainance for me!!!
Okay, enough of my ramblings.
Right, so I'm starting with the Xiamen trip. About 1 week of NO school... What else can I type?
YAY!
Mixed feelings, mostly. Going to a new place to meet and greet new friends from all around the world, it matters too that they all share a passion for singing and perfecting choral workpieces. justWOW. I just feel privileged to stand up on the world stage to perform what I love, considering that a few months ago this dream would have been taken away from me.
My studies actually was quite bad all the way from the start of the pre-uni education here and I was afraid that I couldn't recieve the blessings of my parents to go for this competition. Frankly speaking, I recieved all fails for my subjcets except General Paper for the mid-year common test last July.
Fortunately, many of the teachers were kind and understanding enough to thread me a chance to improve myself. I even managed to come up with a decent timetable to work with after months to tribulations. Thanks to all who supported me in one way or another. 12/06, ppl who noe me, LUVS all SOOO MUCH!
As expected of such a foolhardy choir, I had much fun time watching my fellow peers fallow around. I particularly remembered the video where the j2 bass SL went to Agg's room pretending to be a cat. Of course, it's everyone's luvable Singaporean cat - KUCINTA!
(Sorry - can't resist.)
Handphone with video capability :$260
Trip to World Choir Games at Xiamen:$1400
Electricity used to power phone :$0.17
Seeing your senior willingly mimic a cat: priceless
Anyways, someone spread a rumor saying that my photo is somewhere on the WWW. Of me singing jubliantly the National Anthem after the choir won the Grand Chumpions of the 8:Mixed Choir category. Can someone please enlighten me where is it? I'm too lazy find for it myself. Nah, actually I can't locate it at all. Rumors... rumors... tumors...
Many photos were also taken there. Sorry to say, I misplaced the camera somewhere earlier on before the trip and couldn't take all the photos myself. It was a torture to watch others happily anapping away at friends, flags, and the scenery when I am handicapped without the assistence of the extension of the digital eye. Pity me. Anyone want to buy me a new digital cam? My wishlist: Creative DiVi Cam525D *hint-hint*
Next up.. National Day is coming, the goose is getting fat... Remember that particular Christmas song? Maybe one day I'm gonna radio it up this blog. And no, nobody's a goose (so far... hmmm... my nxt target...)
Yups yups. So this year I'm like taking part in backstage work for the school celebrations. Like, red/white with jeans! And everyone gg crazy over hair spray, water spray... Modeling as an afterthought... Heeheehee. No lah, maybe I am juz fantasizing. Who knows what kind of devilish acts can AJ come up with?
So later there is a final run-thru of the concert programme to tweak everything to shape. Hopefully this year it would be a success as with everything else and mostly DUN WASTE EVY1's TIME. Imagining 1700 ppl, 1 school to make things happening. So reminder: Have funz people!
Happy ND!
