May Day!

Ding- Dong Ding- Dong... Ding- Ding- Ding- Dong!
Start of a new month, and without fail the clock boomed out on 12 o'clock today, also declaring Labour day, as well as my off day, although it became a sick day, on this public holiday, so I was on the computer all day, trying to get better.

Okays, so I basically zombied my off with mindless surfing and playing commputer games. But still, I got some things searched out that I was apathatic about until recently.

Don't faint. It's BLOOD.

So it was only when I recieved my dog tag *woof* that I confirmed myself as a blood type B+. Previously, I was a little apprehensive of the classification from the tests done when you are still a baby, because my brother got changed from a B to a O type. Well, at the end I was tested as unchanged, and my blood a little less precious than my brother's (But still more rare!).

Clueless? Do some light reading: http://nobelprize.org/educational_games/medicine/landsteiner/readmore.html

In a nutshell, I can only donate to B type and AB type people, but O type is a universal donor. A Alaskan study also states that for my type B+, 8 out of 100 people have it, but I think that the proportion varies from region to region. (http://www.bloodbankofalaska.org/about_blood/types.html)

Japanese also attempted to classify blood type to personality -
You're a rugged individualist, who's straight forward and like to do things your own way. Creative and flexible, you adapt easily to any situation. But your insistence on being independent can sometimes go too far and become a weakness.

True? What do you think?

Seb out.
