Try reading this to the last bit, it's real fun. It came from a certain someone who was very stressed these days, and the choir peeps might have made fun of him... but this one is quite good.

Subject: ENGLISH OF TOMORROW - EU ANNOUNCEMENT
Ofetn people have compained that English is a cockeyed language
because of the inconsistencies in its spelling and sound system. Take
heart cahnegs are afoot
The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby
English will be the official language of the European Union rather
than German, which was the other possibility.
As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that
English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5-
year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".
In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this
will make the sivil servants jump with joy.
The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up
konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the
troublesome
"ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf
20% shorter.
In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be
expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are
possible.
Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have
always ben a deterent to akurate speling.
Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the
languag is disgrasful and it should go away.
By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as
replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".
During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords
kontaining "ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensi bl

A voyaging ship was wrecked during a storm at sea and only two of the men on it were able to swim to a small, desert like island. The two survivors, not knowing what else to do, agree that they had no recourse but to pray to God. However, to find out whose prayer was more powerful, they agreed to
divide the territory between them and stay on opposite sides of the island.
The first thing they prayed for was food. The next morning, the first man saw a fruit-bearing tree on his side of the land, and he was able to eat its fruit. The other man's parcel of land remained barren.
After a week, the first man was lonely and he decided to pray for a wife. The next day, another ship was wrecked, and the only survivor was a woman who swam to his side of the land. On the other side of the Island there was nothing.
Soon the first man prayed for a house, clothes, more food. The next day, like magic, all of these were given to him. However, the second man still had nothing.
Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that he and his wife could leave the island. In the morning, he found a ship docked at his side of the first man boarded the ship with his wife and decided to leave the second man on the island. He considered the other man unworthy to receive
God's blessings, since none of his prayers had been answered.
As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from heaven booming, "Why are you leaving your companion on the island?"
"My blessings are mine alone, since I was the one who prayed for them," the first man answered. "His prayers were all unanswered and so he does not deserve anything."
"You are mistaken!" The voice rebuked him. "He had only one prayer, which I answered. If not for that, you would not have received any of my blessings."
"Tell me," the first man asked the voice, "what did he pray for that I should owe him anything?"
"He prayed that all your prayers be answered."
For all we know, our blessings are not the fruits of our prayers alone, but those of another praying for us.
When Jesus died on the cross he was thinking of you!
Are you are one of the 7% who will stand up for him and forward this with the title, "I am one of the 7%".

My day today was packed with slacky things today. I had planned to do some study some Physics today st school since i had to study there for about another two weeks - TORTURE. Okay, coming to school to study seems all fine, but with very little help all the effort and good intentions just seem to vaporise. I couldn't concentrate, especially with the canteen's renovation's and work going on today. So... in the last 1.5 hours i caught myself playing chess with jk until the session ended in 1300h.
Then later saw weilie and went to chow at the nearby hawker centre. Had a super nice time catching up with one another, even a 50's something office guy sat with us at the same dining table and started talking about job prospectus... lol. Since our fav hainan chicken rice stall din open that day,
(hello!!! this is jeremy'sirritating little sister typing here.... bwahahahahaha. hijack his blog..lalala. ok shall not kope his space... byebye! :D and yes, this was self typed by me (: ~~RIDEA X))
hehe... side liner... in the end, we bought our chicken rice from differnt ends of the centre. After that, some tok about life in general, and then (my favourite) dessert!!! Had my usual peanut soup with all the tang yuan with all the black sesame and peanut innards (yum-yum!) and today i topped it up by a $2.30 yam paste. Super yoyox! Oishi! Bagus!
You get the picture. No wonder I was so bloated then.
Went home, collected $ to top up ezlink, and to buy dinner for family later. Rambled on to j8's cristifori to jam on the guitars until the showcase guy came to complain. bleahx. Oh yeah, saw dexter and said hi, and later ken, marcus and meow eating in food junction, but i dun think they saw me. So i had a highly randomed day today.
I'm only slightly frustrated that i won't be able to play bball today cos it started raining when i wanted to go out to play. Oh wells, being on the computer is a nice substitute sometimes (esp when blogging and watching youtube!)But i gonna get back to work soon too.
Seb enjoying himself, out.

optical illusion
This is another example of an amazing illusion!!! (*_*)
The last sentence is so true.
If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, you will only see one color, pink.
However. if you stare at the black "+" in the center,
the moving dot turns to green.
Now, concentrate on the black "+" in the center of the picture.
After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see a green dot rotating.
It's amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot, and the pink ones really don't disappear.
This should be proof enough, we don't always see what we think we see.
Another week rushed by... There's maths assignments to be completed by tomorrow, choir's still as heavy as ever, and holiday daes are getter closer and closer to obvilion. To put things on top of the cherry pie, I freaking hate myself for not eating a good breakfast today... So this resulted in me having less energy to manage to complete two rounds of wakeboarding in the morning. My right thigh was cramping from the lack of exercise of the past few weeks =(
What's worse is that TODAY's THE LAST SESSION!!! Ohmy... evy1 there felt so shortchanged when there was supposed to have three sessions but now out of the blue the next one's cancelled. After the basics like standing up and all the hoola of the physics of a wakeboard... and I was sooo close to performing some small stunts!!! Oh the pain... I WANT A REFUND!!! (and i already miss swimming in bedok resevoir... heello, it's so not everyday one gets to swim there)
So after that i stoned and slept on the bus 59 al the way back to bishan bus interchange... bathed... and watched naruto until my father complained that i was using the com too much. Wells, maybe i have, so chows!

Subject: Cold Water & Heart Attack
Date: Sat, 19 Aug 2006 01:11:03 +0000
Drinking cold water after meal = Cancer !
For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal.
However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed.
It will slow down the digestion.
Once this "sludge" reacted with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.
Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer.
It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A Serious note about Heart Attacks
HEART ATTACK PROCEDURE": (THIS IS NOT A JOKE!)
Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the
left arm hurting.
Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.
Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.
60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.
Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep.
Let's be careful and be aware.
The more we know, the better chance we could survive...
A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to 10
people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life.
Read this.....It could save your life!!
Let's say it's 6.15 pm and you're driving home .
Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to radiate out into your arm and up into your jaw.
You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home.
Unfortunately you don't know if you'll be able to make it that far.
You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.
"HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE":
Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.
A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.
Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm.
In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!! "
